Accompanist, Skipton Choral

Robin grew up in Barking, East London, and studied Microelectronics and then Music at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, receiving a Master of Music degree in Composition in 1988. While earning his living since then as a full-time software engineer, Robin has been active as an accompanist, conductor and composer both on Tyneside and in Yorkshire, where he relocated in 1998. Robin has accompanied for operatic societies, Gilbert & Sullivan societies, solo singers and instrumentalists, and, more latterly, choirs. He is currently the regular accompanist for Skipton Choral and also for the Cononley Singers. His Christmas carol “All and Some” was premiered by the Cononley Singers in their Christmas concert in 2024.
